Education Career


Library & Information Center of SNGIST was established in the year 2003 with a view to preserve and disseminate knowledge to the academic communities. Apart from the Central library, the college has separate department wise libraries. SNGIST Library has a vast collection of over 35,599 information resources that includes technical, management and general volumes, ready references, encyclopaedia etc. Library also subscribes national and international journals and e-Journal packages. SNGIST Library is fully automated with an open access system and a barcode-based circulation process. Library also has a good digital repository system D-Space.

Library Membership

SNGIST library offers membership to teachers, non-teaching staffs, research scholars and students of the college.

Library Objectives

  1. To provide necessary methods for proper circulation of library books, to satisfy the needs of users.
  2. To update and procure the relevant and recent journals, useful publications for faculty and student community.
  3. To fulfil the basic needs to support teaching, research and study requirements of the college.
