The Department of Engineering is headed by Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar V.He holds Bachelor Of Engineering ,Computer Science from Bharathidasan University,Tamil Nadu(1997)and M.Tech Degree in Computer Science from SASTRA university ,Tamil Nadu .He holds Ph.D in Computer Science & Engg. from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University,TamilNadu. He has authored National as well as International Journals and Conference Papers and has more than 16 years of experience as an academician & three years of industrial experience. His field of interests include cloud computing.He has attended and conducted a large no of FDPs ,seminars,conferences and tech fests .Currently he is working as Principal of SNGIST.
